The short version. This is a free walking game run by one person as a hobby. Nothing is for sale. You walk around a real city, so your safety is your own responsibility. Be honest on the wall, be decent in messages, and understand that the whole thing may change or stop at any time.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
The quest sends you walking to public places in Malmö. You are entirely responsible for yourself while you do it. In particular:
Checkpoints are in public space that other people control. A sign can be removed, covered or vandalised without warning, and the map can be out of date. Never take a risk to reach one.
The whole quest is free. There is no fee, no subscription, no locked content, and no checkout on this site.
If you follow the link to buy the organiser a coffee, that is a voluntary gift, not a purchase. It is handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee under their own terms, and any question about a charge or a refund is between you and them.
A donation buys nothing: no advantage in the game, no guarantee that the site keeps running, and no verification of anything. This site is never even told whether you donated.
The game only works if people play it honestly. Please do not:
Team names are limited to 24 characters and are cleaned of characters that could be used to impersonate the organiser's own messages.
Finishing lets you ask to appear on a public wall. How that works:
Do not submit anything unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexual, commercial, or belonging to someone else. Links you write are stored, and only ordinary web addresses are ever made clickable.
The in-app message screen reaches one person's phone. It is answered when that person is free, and sometimes not at all.
It is not an emergency service. If something is wrong in the real world, call the appropriate number. In Sweden that is 112.
This is a hobby project on a single small server. It is provided as is, with no promise that it works, stays available, keeps your progress, or continues to exist. Checkpoints, content and features may change or disappear, and the whole thing may be shut down without notice.
Offline play is a convenience that depends on your own browser's storage. Clearing site data erases your progress, and it cannot be recovered.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the organiser is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from using this site or walking the quest, including anything that happens to you on the street, lost progress, or the service being unavailable.
Nothing here removes rights you cannot waive. Swedish and EU law give you certain rights regardless of what any terms say, and this section does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
What is stored and what is never collected is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes belong to the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law.
